Payment and Delivery

How you pay for a winning ChronoBid lot and how the watch reaches you in Australia or overseas.

Settlement currency

Catalogue bidding and published premiums are in Australian dollars unless a lot says otherwise.

After you win, ChronoBid confirms the amount due: hammer plus the published 7.5% buyer’s premium, less any 5% card deposit already taken, and any confirmed GST treatment on Auction Fees.

Payment methods and deadlines

A 5% deposit on the hammer is charged to your verified card only if you win. The balance (hammer + 7.5% buyer’s premium − deposit) is paid by bank transfer.

ChronoBid confirms the settlement deadline in Australian business days on your invoice after the hammer.

Card or payment-provider surcharges, if charged, appear on Auction Fees. Ask support if your invoice looks different from the lot estimate.

Contact support@chronobid.com.au if you need payment instructions for a specific lot.

Collection

Collection address, booking steps, and the free collection window are confirmed with the winning bidder after settlement.

Storage fees after that window are listed on Auction Fees.

Operating hours: Weekdays 9am-5pm AEST. ABR location on file: Melbourne Victoria 3000, Australia. Collection street address is confirmed with the winning bidder after settlement.

Shipping and insurance

Shipping is usually arranged or paid by the buyer unless a lot says otherwise. Quotes depend on destination and insurer requirements for high-value watches.

ChronoBid can arrange shipping on your behalf when agreed after settlement. Preferred carriers are confirmed with the winning bidder for that lot.

See Buyer Protection for dispute steps if a shipment is damaged or lost after handover.
